In a current pandemic existing world, many individuals do not have the peace of mind to operate as usual due to the pandemic. As many are afraid of contracting the virus the consequences of each of this on a person’s well being would greatly influence their decision making and overall well being. To help isolate and prevent Covid 19 from spreading something must be done in order for us to live a more sustainable life with lesser worries. Here at Team April Fools we realise the need of a way to help track the possibilities of Covid spreading. As to track people that may have been in contact with the virus we realise contact tracing apps may be necessary. That is why we at Team April Fools decided on creating an app called Apex to help with the tracing of people. Furthermore we decided to improve on apps currently available for contact tracing and implement newer features to our app to further improve the quality of life and the tracing of Covid 19. Apex has the usual contact tracing apps features as well as more with the inclusion of a map displaying the hotspots of covid 19 as well as a newer scanner feature and multiple available languages for all users to be able to understand the app well. With this new app our goal of putting people’s mind at ease would be met as they would be able to track the Covid cases and be constantly kept up to date with the hotspots.
